At Calef’s, we feel it’s important to support our local sugarhouses all year round, especially this coming weekend because it is New Hampshire Maple Sugaring Weekend. This Saturday and Sunday, March 15-16, 2025, join us in celebrating New Hampshire Maple Sugaring Weekend. It’s a fun time of year for local folks and new visitors alike. The New Hampshire Maple Community is important to Calef’s and our customers near and far as each year, the New Hampshire maple industry produces close to 90,000 gallons of maple syrup. Sugaring is a local tradition for many and the sugaring season brings our community together.
Did you know? It takes approximately forty gallons of sap to make one gallon of pure maple syrup.
To plan your sugaring weekend, visit the NH Maple Website. Visitors are lured into each sugarhouse by the steam, and lots of it! You will quickly learn the steam is a sign of the start of the maple sugaring season. At each sugarhouse you will be guided through the maple sugaring process. The hours at each location may differ therefor check each sugarhouse you plan to attend. It’s easy to discover sugarhouses near you on the NH Maple Map. This event is brought to you by the New Hampshire Maple Producers Association, Inc. A non-profit trade association dedicated to the promotion of NH’s Sugarhouses. NH Maple Sugaring Weekend is a great way to get outside and learn about maple and maybe afterwards even sample some pure NH maple products.
