Maine Homestead started as a way to use up the extra cucumbers from the garden. After realizing that we could never eat the 100 jars of pickles we’d made and enjoying looking for new recipes to try, we decided to try our hand at farmers markets and craft shows. Thanks to all the local support we have had an amazing start and look forward to continuing to create great local food for our community!

Not like Grams, but close!

Hard to find these pickles. I remember them as a child and loved them. These are close to my Grams, but the mustard sauce doesn't seem as thick......however, they are good. I have no problem with them and it does bring back the memories. Would definitely recommend, thanks!

My sister loved them . A little sweeter than she remembers them being , however, she remembers them from your store when we were little. She remembers a barrel with the pickles in them and thinks they were made by you.

It reminds me of my grandparents house back in the early 80’s, They had friends that made this and we’d also always find it at a holiday bizarre. That generation have all passed on and it’s impossible to find. When I came across this on your site it brought back memories and I purchased a few jars to give to family. I have to say the only thing that’s different from back then is the thinner liquid consistency. Thank you,I’ll definitely purchase again from you. 😊
