If you would have told me years ago to eat a red onion, I would have told you "No thank you. Not a fan". But After a friend brought a jar of pickled red onions over to my home, as a compliment to a cheese dish, I was hooked.
I immediately started making them myself and began putting them on EVERYTHING! Soon, the girl who hated onions became known as The Pickled Red Onion Lady. And there, the idea was born to fully embrace the title and convert other onion disliking people to the wonderful flavor of the pickled red onion. We believe that eating should be an event and food should be exciting. We make our pickled red onions in small batches, with simple ingredients because flavor does not need to be complex.

Shipping issues
So I found this product originally in my hometown of skokie illinois in the iconic deli Kauffman”s. They ran out and I found this gem of a country store. The product was amazing and so happy they had so many in stock. The problem I had was with the way it was shipped. The order was over 230.00 and they used a used home chef box. While the product was great three of them were cracked open during shipping. Super disappointed as I also ordered three packages of old time candy. One of the packages of the candy had to be thrown out with the three jars of onions. So upset. For an order or this size I would have thought they would have bought a box from the post office. I don’t think I would order again in fear of them packing it the same way. I didn’t call them like I should have. My fault.
